The B Lab Benelux team is part of B Lab Europe. The B Corp community & movement in the Benelux is scaling rapidly. We are a young, innovative, and open-minded team, working with strong dedication and a contagious drive to contribute to B Lab’s mission and vision.

Our marketing communications team of three handles all external communications, with a focus on amplifying our mission and protecting our brand. We craft strategic messaging, manage PR, and run impactful campaigns to highlight businesses driving social and environmental change. Through storytelling and content creation, we build visibility, foster engagement, and strengthen the B Corp community.

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a creative and driven Marketing Communications Intern to support the B Lab Benelux team. This is a hands-on, exciting opportunity to strengthen and amplify the B Lab and B Corp brands across multiple platforms.

You’ll be part of the marketing and communications team, where you will assist with creating content, managing our social media platforms, supporting press requests and create and optimize our external newsletter.

If your university requires an internship assignment, we’re happy to support you. Some ideas for assignments could include crafting a PR Strategy for B Lab, creating an Awareness Campaign Plan, conducting an Audience Engagement Analysis, or how to Optimize the Communication Strategy through AI. B Lab Hiring Job

Your main responsibilities will be

    Social Media

    Develop content (videos, graphics, copy) for our social media channels. Manage and analyze the performance this content for to maintain an active and engaging presence.

    PR

    Monitor news about B Lab / B Corps using our media monitoring tool Meltwater. Assist B Corps in their external messaging to announce their B Corp Certification, as well as supporting the execution of B Lab Benelux’ PR strategy together with our PR agency.

    New Standards Communications

    Assist in creating and analyzing content to create more awareness and engagement about B Lab’s new standards for B Corp Certification.

    Newsletter

    Help craft, design, distribute, and analyze the performance of our external newsletter.

    External Communications

    Address communications questions from B Corps.

    Team Support

    Work closely with the communications team (3 FTE) and the community team to ensure synergy across projects.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, sustainability, environmental studies or a related field.
  • Passionate about sustainability and the potential of business to make a positive impact on the world.
  • Creative thinker & content creator: You’re all about bringing fresh ideas to life, whether that’s through visuals, videos, or engaging copy.
  • Copywriting skills: You love writing stories, crafting clever copy, and turning ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Experienced with digital tools: You’re comfortable with (and/or willing to learn all about) tools like Canva, Miro, Meltwater and Sprout Social.

  • Adaptable & Curious: You’re comfortable with a dynamic work environment and excited to learn new things, no matter the challenge.

What we offer:

  •  6 days of holiday
  •  2 flexible holidays – which you can use for public holidays
  •  Monthly contributions towards health and wellbeing, and commuting to the office bills
  •  Working in a flexible open office at the KIT, next to the Oosterpark.
  •  At B Lab Benelux we have a 4 Day Work Week. This means that we consider 32 hours as full-time. The fifth day can be spent on the assignment
  • Salary compensation of 500 EURO per month based on 32 hours according to our 4 day work week policy.

Starting Date: No later than the first of September 2025, for a period of 20 weeks.

Working Arrangements: Hybrid – both working from the office in Amsterdam and working from home is allowed. Preferably, we would like to connect with you twice a week at the office.
